We are located on a farm, so please take appropriate care. Because of farm machinery and so many unsafe areas, children are not permitted to join you for the class...sorry.
When you visit for a class, you are very welcome to look around the gardens. they are steep in places, and the ground can be uneven and slippery when wet, please take care.
Look out for doggy doos, echidnas and snakes.
The toilet provided is a flushing camping toilet, not wheelchair accessible.
My friendly dog will be present at the classes.

Knitting for Beginers
You may know nothing, or you know how to do a knit stitch, and maybe you've tried a purl stitch. We will learn to cast on and cast off, as well as to increase and decrease stitches in your knitting.
We will follow simple patterns to create fancy stitches using the knit and purl stitches.
In this lesson you will discover the exciting range of possibilities to create beautiful and practical wearables and homewares for yourself or to gift.
Wool will be provided, but please bring a pair of knitting needles to class,. Also bring along your lunch, we have a fridge and a microwave to use.

Knitting For Beginners

We will learn how to cast on stitches and cast off, as well as to increase and decrease stitches in your knitting.

You will take home a ball of wool along with an instruction sheet of the stitches you've learned today, so you can make a scarf at home.

Wool and needles will be provided.

Crochet Bowl or Basket

Today we will learn to crochet a round or square bowl or a basket shape.
For whatever use you may have at home, there is a suitable bowl or basket that you can create.
The children's room, the office or the kitchen all have need of a bowl or a basket of a size and shape to suit the need.

Knitting With Colours
$60
Often called intarsia, coloured knitting can be very simple to incredibly complex.
We will start with changing colour on the next row of our knitting to create horizontal stripes.
Then for a little more difficulty we will change colours along the row.
Be excited by the possibilities for your knitting. Maybe a picture on your child's next jumper. Or a fairisle jumper for the man in your life.
